What we’re making

We’re making knitwear in small batches, focusing on everyday pieces designed to be worn often and kept.

Our work centres on jumpers and scarves made from superfine merino wool, produced in Scotland with close attention to fit, handle, and finish.

Why we’re launching on Kickstarter

Starting from the ground up

We’re at the beginning of building a small knitwear studio in Scotland. Rather than outsourcing production, we want to establish the core of the process ourselves from the start.

Why the knitting machine comes first

A knitting machine is the foundation of how we plan to work. It allows us to develop patterns in-house, work at a considered pace, and produce small runs without relying on external facilities.

Why Kickstarter

We’ve chosen Kickstarter as a way to fund this first step openly. It lets us build the studio with the support of people who want to see it exist, and to produce our first pieces in direct response to that support.

This first campaign is about putting the right foundations in place.

What supporters will get

A direct role in helping establish a small, independent knitwear studio in Scotland.

Early access to our first knitwear pieces once the studio is set up.

Regular updates as the project develops, from setting up the machine to producing the first pieces.

We want supporters to feel connected to how the work comes together.

The kind of pieces we plan to make once the studio is set up.
